RAIN and BRAID Present: The responsible AI landscape

It is the first time in history that AI ethics has been shone by the global spotlight. In this post, Kairoi’s founder and CEO reflects on the role of confusion in the AI ethics space, the power of authoritative narratives, the problem of volunteer communities and the need for a responsible AI revolution.

The Four Pillars of Responsible AI

This post describes some of the theory behind the Four Pillars of Responsible AI, which enable us to design and implement organisational mechanisms that ensure responsible approaches to AI.

Introducing the ModelShare Programme

23rd November 2023

The Open Modeling Foundation’s ModelShare Programme will develop guidelines for researchers to effectively implement ethical model-sharing practices throughout the modelling lifecycle. The Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation’s portfolio of AI assurance techniques now includes Kairoi’s Responsible AI Interview Questions. The addition of the questions to the portfolio is a welcome step towards leading systematic change as informed by organisational development theory and practices.
